I like to do cleanses. I’m a hippy and really believe fasting and cleanses were a huge part of our historical self care rituals, and with no one performing them anymore, and eating super crap fast food and sitting all day on top of it-no wonder Americans are so unhealthy and feel like crap. I’ve been having a lot of abdominal and skin issues lately, which usually lets me know it’s time for some kind of body rejuvenation ritual. I was partially fasting while taking this (usually 500 cal or less per day) for the first few days. I noticed no ill side effects, and as I slowly added food back in, still felt fine. My stomach is less bloated and my skin has cleared up. Any natural cleanse is going to make a difference in your body. Some are weaker, so if you don’t notice anything, double the dosage. The worst thing it will do is stick you in the bathroom for a while and you’ll know the dosage is too high. I won’t consume any supplement not made in the USA in a GMP FDA approved facility, because otherwise you have NO idea what you’re getting.

I got this product because I really liked the idea of an all in one-makeup remover, cleanser, toner. Like most all in one products, it does a lot of things, but it doesn’t do them all well. It got most of my makeup and oil off my face, but it took more effort and pressure than I like to use on delicate facial skin. It also left my skin feeling a bit sticky. I think it is great to keep for on the go, like in your gym bag or for camping as they suggest, so you can get decently cleaned off without having to tote a bunch of products around. However, for daily use, I wouldn’t recommend it. I’d rather stick with separate products that get the job done better.
I do especially like that it’s natural and free of all the nasty chemical stuff out there. It’s also vegan!

Pine Sky Tumbler – Double wall

I love this so much! It has become my go to drink container when I’m at home. It doesn’t have any problems with condensation forming on the outside, which is great for these hot summer days. Even if I leave it outside, it stays cold for way longer than you would think. The only con to this tumbler is that I really wish it had a travel lid included. This one is impossible to take anywhere, because it tips no matter what, and obviously spills everywhere. I love that it’s eco friendly, and I always prefer stainless steel containers. It’s not a name brand, but who cares? Not me.

Hose nozzle garden sprayer

What a high quality hose sprayer! It is all metal and very hefty. It is very solidly constructed and very easy to attach and use. The dial turns easily. Usually these nozzles are plastic and end up leaking halfway through the gardening season, which is crazy annoying, and expensive when you have to replace them all the time! This one is one that WILL last. It has the usual settings every garden hose has, so you have a lot of options. In case you couldn’t already tell from the hashtags, I got it free in exchange for my honest review.

Handheld blacklight flashlight

This is an awesome handheld blacklight. It’s very strong, and was convenient to use as there are batteries included (don’t you hate when items don’t include batteries? It seems so cheap!) It is all metal and well constructed. The light is a great blacklight and points out all kinds of unsightly stains around your house (maybe not a great idea if that squicks you out!) so you can get your house squeaky, spotlessly clean house with ease. Plus it’s fun for kids to play with!!

Have a nice day mug

This is crass and rude, and perfect for my friend who is also both of those things!! What can I say? It’s a mug. It holds your coffee or whatever, just like every other mug. Fun to take a drink and surprise people with what is on the bottom! It’s a fine mug, and the letters seem like they’ll stay on well, especially since my friend handwashes everything. She posted a better picture on instagram.

Moscow mule, anyone?

Barrel hammered Moscow mule copper mug

This mug came in a nicely presented box. It has a nice weight to it and is amazingly shiny. I googled uses for copper mugs and came up with the Moscow mule drink. Ginger beer + vodka + (don’t do lime juice like everyone says) lemon juice=the tastiest, most alcoholic ginger ale you’ve ever had. I put the mug in the freezer to pre-chill it and then add the drink. It is so refreshing drinking from the copper-it gives the drink extra flavor and keeps it so chilly. I’ve got to get a set because these would be great at a party.
The mug itself is very well made, and feels very sturdy. The handle is well attached, and I think these would last really well (I can’t wait til mine develops the patina of age!)

Pencils for days

What can I say about a giant box of pencils? They sharpen well and easily, they didn’t break like cheap dollar store pencils, and there’s a ton of them. 144 pencils. I don’t even know what to do with so many pencils! We will never need to buy them again in our entire homeschool career, and that is pretty nice! Pencils always disappear and get broken, so just get yourself this ridiculously giant box of pencils and never worry about writing again! This would also be a fantastic thing to donate to your child’s school and help everyone out.

Reusable silicone bag (AMAZZZZZING)

I love this! I want multiples in every size! I want to never buy another non-reusable plastic crap Ziploc bag again. This can do everything they can and so much more. It can hold LIQUIDS and is SELF STANDING, you guys. Seriously, I have tried it with multiple things from liquids to solids and everything in between. It is super thick and sturdy. It is very easy to clean, and easy to operate. I adore these and the only problem I have is they are pretty expensive! BUT! How many Ziplocs do you buy in a month? Think about it…

Horny Goat Weed is a herb (Epimedium) that is known for being an aphrodisiac and touted as a Testosterone Booster. It derives its layman names from goats and sheep who acted a bit more frisky after consuming Epimedium that grew near their fields.

It is also sometimes referred to by its active ingredient, Icariin. Icariin is known as a prenylated flavonoid compound and has been shown to exert much of the aphrodisiac effects of Horny Goat Weed. It has also been shown in one rat study to increase Testosterone levels at a rather high dose, and moderate dosages are shown to be beneficial for bone health.

Icariin has not been shown to increase testosterone in females, yet two other compounds in Horny Goat Weed (Icaritin, Desmethylicaritin) have actually increased Estrogen in post-menopausal females. The herb acts as an aphrodisiac in both genders, and the gender-specific hormone increasing could be beneficial for both genders.
