Large Rectangular Walnut Wood Cutting Board with Juice Drip Groove (17 x 11 Inches)

This is a really heavy cutting board. It’s so much bigger than I thought it would be, and the color pre-seasoning is nothing compared to after seasoning it (they sell special oil or you can use just plain coconut oil) I washed it and dried it, and then seasoned with just plain coconut oil. I used it for veggies-it was really easy to cut on such a hard surface. My knife did leave some marks in the wood, which I was surprised to see. After I washed it the first time, the cutting surface became super rough. I contacted the seller who said this happens sometimes with this type of wood, and suggested I try sanding it with a very fine grade sandpaper. That did render the surface smooth again. I have only used it a couple of times since then and haven’t noticed it becoming rough again, but will update if that happens.
Mostly, this is just a really beautiful addition to the kitchen. The wood has a gorgeous patterns, and the juice groove is handy when cutting juicy things (like the artichoke hearts pictured) The juice stayed in the groove nicely and didn’t spill.

Let me answer the biggest question everyone reading this wants to know-what does it taste like? It tastes like yucky unsweetened chocolate water. I chase it with juice or something, it’s not terrible. I use a shaker ball like I do with protein powder and that helps a lot. You definitely don’t want a sludgy mess at the bottom of your cup.It almost made me barf. However, it has been an efficacious remedy in Chinese medicine for hundreds of years as an all purpose usage. It seems kind of gross, because it’s other name is caterpillar fungus because it used to only grow on the back of high altitude caterpillars. you have to know, I ordered this item with complete skepticism. It was a last ditch effort before asking our rental agency to call a professional. Being a natural minded mama, I REALLY don’t want to use toxins around my kids, pets, and self. I had tried the natural ant traps, the homemade borax stuff…nothing was helping. We moved into a new place and had this ant problem from the beginning of June. A hundred ants all over my countertops, no matter how clean I got it, they always found something. They were spreading into the bathroom, upstairs and the garage. I put 2 in the kitchen by the countertops since they were the worst and most unhygienic area. I got this product because I really liked the idea of an all in one-makeup remover, cleanser, toner. Like most all in one products, it does a lot of things, but it doesn’t do them all well. It got most of my makeup and oil off my face, but it took more effort and pressure than I like to use on delicate facial skin. It also left my skin feeling a bit sticky. I think it is great to keep for on the go, like in your gym bag or for camping as they suggest, so you can get decently cleaned off without having to tote a bunch of products around. However, for daily use, I wouldn’t recommend it. I’d rather stick with separate products that get the job done better.
I do especially like that it’s natural and free of all the nasty chemical stuff out there. It’s also vegan!

Pine Sky Tumbler – Double wall

I love this so much! It has become my go to drink container when I’m at home. It doesn’t have any problems with condensation forming on the outside, which is great for these hot summer days. Even if I leave it outside, it stays cold for way longer than you would think. The only con to this tumbler is that I really wish it had a travel lid included. This one is impossible to take anywhere, because it tips no matter what, and obviously spills everywhere. I love that it’s eco friendly, and I always prefer stainless steel containers. It’s not a name brand, but who cares? Not me.

The bot is a great size, a little bigger than expected but overall a perfect fit for its functionality. Hand gesture control is a bit dodgy but I expect it’s more to do with human error and practice. Using the track ball is such fun and it has different settings where the bot will chase after the ball like a pet animal, follow the ball like a leash on a pet, or dance with musics. There are 6 options in total and all work with surprising simplicity.
The smart phone app is free (MiPosaur app) for smart devices. You can control the bot like a RC car, feed the bot, have the bot dance to music, and run a pre-drawn course.

My libdo hasn’t seen much increase but my stamina is somewhat improved. My mental focus, patience, and drive to perform have all seen improvements. I was really, really worried this might be disgusting. I don’t have much of a good history with liquid vitamins. I was pleasantly surprised to find this not only was palatable, but didn’t leave much of an aftertaste, either! I am a mom of 3 and under constant stress, same as my husband. Calcium and magnesium are great stress relievers-magnesium gets drawn out at a prodigious rate once you’re stressed. Drinks like this make it really easy to put it back in to your body to help drop those cortisol levels.
I keep it in my fridge and do a little shot of it every day. My husband and I both enjoy it, and know that liquid is more bioavailable and that this particular combo of vitamins is quite effective for almost everyone.

It would be really nice if these came with some basic instructions. I thought I knew what I was doing, but ended up having to google all the information I needed for these. If they had a booklet or ebook that came with the purchase, that would make them be even better.
They are accurate, fast, and reliable. In testing out these servo motors I haven’t found any issues. I was a little new to this area and had to use an online tutorial to get the setup right for controlling them but once that was set, testing results were as expected. Product came as pictured, each was packaged individually, and with several lever arms.

I usually buy a similar size at my local health food store, for the same price (organic as well) They are very much the same in quality, consistency, and smell. The only advantage my local store has is they sometimes go on sale. But I can buy this one in my underwear, so that kind of is a bonus, am I right? (#momlife) I used to use peppermint oil as a diffuse for my kids when they were congested in the winter, but read it’s not great for kids, so I’ve been using it for myself. It’s also super efficacious for headaches. DO NOT apply it directly to your skin, it needs a carrier oil (coconut, almond, jojoba, castor, etc.) or it will cause problems for you. This is a high quality oil available for an average price.

Essa Skin Care Vita-C-Whip

The price is high for not having organic ingredients, in my opinion. I’ve tried a lot of vitamin C serums, and I can attest that they do all work-just the delivery system changes. I like this one because it is less sticky than other options I’ve tried. It works wonderfully for undereye circles-I have genetically bad ones and they have definitely lightened up from use of vitamin C serums (I started off testing only one eye to see if it was noticeable-it was, I actually had to stop with the one eye until the other one caught up!) This is a nicely packaged product with a faint orange smell. Not much to distinguish it from other serums, other than it’s more lotion like quality.

Bergamot Essential Oil for Aromatherapy (4oz).

For the price, I just can’t believe that it’s a super high quality oil. I won’t ingest it or use it on my skin, but as many other reviewers have stated, it works great for diffusing as it’s just a generally pleasant smell. I don’t notice much aromatherapy benefit from it, which leads me to believe it may be adulterated with some fragrance oils, and that does make the quality drop. However, you do get so much for such a low price, if you love it and aren’t 100% committed to quality, this is a great beginner oil to try.

Galaxy S7 edge phone case/wallet combo

This is a great wallet/phone case combo for the price. The leather is durable and well stitched and constructed. The main feature I enjoyed is that the phone case is detachable. This is really handy for when you want to take a lot of pictures or video. I definitely keep a better hold on my phone than I do my wallet, so this case is great for me-they’re always together and I’m guaranteed to never lose any of my safety information. It would be better is if it was an RFID blocker as well. Also, if you have an all the way to the edge screen protector, it will get messed up. Other than that, it’s a solidly made case.

 

LED Plant Grow Light – Clip Desk Lamp

The clip is strong and non slip as promised. It has a great spectrum of light and is very useful for all stages of plant growing. I propagate a lot of house plants and this was perfect for my succulents area. It gave the babies a nice glow and I think really helped them take root sooner. It’s very sturdy, I have dropped it a few times without breaking it. It’s an LED so the bulb will last forever, and not use a ton of electric. It’s only useful for a small area, which is a downside to it-who wants a light they can only use for 1-2 plants? The light is very bright and and can fit into any place you might keep a houseplant.

La Belleza Vitamin C serum

I have tried several vitamin C serums so far, and this one is a pretty good one. Not great, but good. Stored in an amber bottle is the best as it protects the integrity of the ingredients longer. I like that it has added ingredients to help plump collagen. I have noticed an effect on my hereditary dark circles from using this serum regularly. I do not have skin like I did in my 20’s and no serum can ever promise that. Go get some Botox instead. But for the price, it’s worth adding to your anti-aging regimen..

Kids Educational Animal World Map Wall Decal

This is a great addition to any kid’s area. We have it up in our homeschool area. In retrospect, I wish I had spaced the stickers much farther apart. That is my only beef with these-the sticky isn’t adhesive enough to move more than once and still stick well to the wall, in my opinion. If it was more easily movable and durable seeming, it would be a 5 star product. For the price, it’s not too bad. The colors are vibrant and the lines are very crisp and sharp. I love the artwork and my children really are interested in it, and have asked so many questions concerning the various land masses and animals. It would be excellent for a rental as it seems to be easy to remove. I love the artwork and it makes me smile every time I look at it.

DHEA 100 mg Maximum Strength Supplement

I am suffering from adrenal fatigue, I’m positive. I had 3 kids in less than 6 years and I carried them naturally, breastfed, etc. I have plain worn my body out. I checked the sizing chart first and my daughter was still too big for this dress at 5.5 years old. It is too snug (not that she cares, it’s got Peppa on it.) I’d say it would fit a slim 4 year old on down. My daughter is very tall and very slim for her age, so it won’t fit any kids that are chubbier without sizing up. Other than that, it is well constructed, and the appliques are sewn on tightly. The dress itself is very cute and well made, just make sure you check sizing!

Oh my gosh you guys! We have been moving for the past few weeks and we are finally, officially done at the last place! So no more sparse reviews and lack of fun posts-look for a lot more action.
First, check out this super cool game that had my kids going nuts since I’ve basically ignored them for 3 weeks, and they loved when we sat down together. They’re also REALLY enjoying living next to a playground.

The most fun thing my kids have gotten in my reviewing career…

My kids knew this was coming and anxiously inspected every package. When it finally arrived, they were so stoked (no video, sorry, I’m on a free account but feel free to check out the game and find my video there) I had to caution them to slow down so we didn’t destroy the box. The box is annoying to thread the handle back in and put it together-even my 7.5 year old needed help with that.

Buy this more for fun and reading the ebook than for the game. The questions they ask are difficult and dry and honestly not much fun for kids this age (which I assume the game is for, because it’s way too simplistic for anyone older than 9 or 10) What we did instead of reading the given questions, was read a small selection from the dinosaur chosen, and then I made up my own questions and changed the difficulty depending who was answering (the 3 year old had to name 2 dinos, for instance, while the 5 year old was asked about diet and habits, and the 7.5 year was given more dry, but still interesting to him, questions.

As far as the figures, they are fantastic and well made. My kids immediately split them up and kept their favorites. Days later, they’re still playing with the figures, but pretty uninterested in the game itself.

Pink wireless keyboard (needs USB plugin)

This came in a nicely packaged box. I hadn’t realized from the description that it also has a clear silicone cover protecting the actual keypads. I really like that feature-it keeps the keyboard keys clean AND protected from spills that would fry or sticky up a keyboard. The only downside to me, and why this is just going to be a backup keyboard in case my current one dies-it doesn’t have volume control or mute buttons on the keyboard, and those are a necessity for me, to make it easy for my children to control the volume when using the computer for screen time. I love it’s color, it’s easy to set up, and the keys press smoothly.

I never tried mint, and tried many green/veggie/grassy tasting supplements and drinks. I wouldn’t have expected mint to be palatable at all, so i’m not sure if this is exceptionally good for mint flavor, or if it’s just not as bad as I thought it would be. It covers lots of health needs. If you like mint, it’s easy to swallow and you will love it. If the mint is this good, I bet the other flavors are even better. I hope I eventually get to try the other flavors and give my opinion on those because if the mint is this good, the others must be amazeballs. Everyone should add a green drink to their life. This is not my first purchase from this company, I also received and reviewed their retinol cream as well, so I was confident in the product’s efficacy (the retinol cream is AMAZEBALLS, I swear, you should get that too) It’s a nice thick gel, but unlike cream, it didn’t feel heavy and sticky on your skin. It absorbs in well. The jar is SO huge, and for the quality of ingredients and how long it will last, this is a steal of a deal. I use this over top a Vitamin C serum (that is for my dark circles) and have between the 2 noticed a lessening of dark circles and less visible fine lines (no, I’m not calling them wrinkles yet!) Quality product for an amazing price, you won’t regret giving it a try.
